Our Mission Statement: Following Jesus, Walking Together, from Good News to Godly Service. Come and See!

Join us in worship!

Experience God's words each Sunday morning at either 7:45am or 10:15am.

Worship is the ministry of the people and we believe that God’s presence is among us every time we gather together. The dress code is informal as we believe God is with us in all times, and in all places.
So come as you are!

We express ourselves at Little Zion

We express ourselves at Little Zion!

The sacrament of Holy Communion is offered each week at either the early or late service and at both services on festival Sundays. We welcome all Christians to celebrate Holy Communion with us. Children are welcome to come to the Lord’s Table to receive a blessing.

The sacrament of Holy Baptism is available anytime. To schedule, please contact the pastor.

Our worship message can be described as relevant, biblical, and enlightening. We have a ‘blended’ style of worship. The worship service offers a little something for everyone. We use liturgy from the latest red book titled "Evangelical Lutheran Worship". The worship service is printed out in the weekly bulletin.

Children are welcome to worship at Little Zion and each week there is a special children’s sermon during the service. After that, the kids are invited to attend "Children's Church" in the Fellowship Hall and join their parents later toward the end of the "adult" worship service. Our children choirs regularly present musical offerings. Available for children are “Children’s Worship Bulletins” along with an ample supply of crayons. A Nursery is available during the late worship service and it is staffed by two members of the congregation. Changing tables are located in all restrooms.

With the change of seasons, we celebrate Holy Communion with a liturgy titled “Of the Land and Seasons.” This is a folk service during which our musical Acoustic Group (LZAG) leads the congregation. The prayers, hymns and liturgy for Land and Seasons connect us closely with each season. Our heritage as a rural community is celebrated when we worship using this special service.

Our sanctuary design dates from the pre-civil war era, and has been modernized to provide comfort. What is a striking and beloved feature of our worship space is the large painting of Christ ascending to heaven in the front of the nave. In all things, like this beautiful painting, we strive to keep our relationship with Christ forefront in our hearts and minds.
